Verizon Unveils New Plan In Hopes To Entice Wireless Users
A new plan is being disclosed by Verizon to entice cell phone users from their current wireless carrier company to Verizon.
Verizon, which has been cited as being the number one wireless carrier company, recently released details on several new changes being implemented. Some changes include additional data and storage, unlimited messaging and more discounts.
Data is going to double, customers won’t be charged for the additional storage and the unlimited text messaging for international users will include videos, pictures. On top of that, some “Edge” plans are going to be eligible for discounts.
The changes being implemented by Verizon is in response to the reduced plans AT&T is offering, the “Framily” plan Sprint has and the “No Contracts” from T-Mobile. In fact, T-Mobile is so aggressive in the price wars – the company has offered to pay for a person’s early termination fee if they switch from Sprint, AT&T or Verizon.
Many analysts feel that charging too little for plans could backfire because people think there’s a catch and won’t go for it.
It is Verizon’s hope that the company stays ahead of its competition and is dominate among the wireless carriers.
