Timberlake, Biel Welcome Baby Boy
It’s a boy! Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel have become parents.
Confirmed by People on Saturday, their baby son named Silas Randall Timberlake, became the first child for the 33-year-old actress and 34-year-old singer.
After many months of speculation, Timberlake had officially announced the couple was expecting their first child in January. The announcement was made with a cute baby bump picture of Biel that had a caption that read, “Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. This year, I’m getting the greatest gift ever. Can’t wait! The picture showed Timberlake kissing his wide’s big stomach.
Before Timberlake made his announcement, his friend and ‘N Sync pal, Joey Fatone, confirmed it, saying he believed Timberlake would be a great dad. Fatone said Timberlake has always been great with the kids, and that he’d be hands-on.
Both Timberlake and Biel were fairly hush-hush about the pregnancy, until February, when a source close to the couple said Biel was extremely happy to become a mother. Another source said Biel was feeling very good during the pregnancy, and that Justin’s mother was excited about the upcoming new addition to the family.
Biel was rather active throughout her pregnancy, and often showed off her growing belly the last several months. One of the more noted baby bump sighting was during her 33rd birthday party in March when she and the husband were pictured, leaving Estee Stanley’s home.
During the iHeartRadio Awards, Timberlake gave a loving acceptable speech, where he thanked his wife who he called his best friend and favorite collaborator. He announced he couldn’t wait to see their best creation ever and would love to learn how to change dirty diapers and do the swaddle.
