Sprint Offers Consumers A $90 Family Share Pack
Sprint is looking to return its ranks in the U.S. by offering a $90 Family Share Pack plan that includes 12GB of shared data for up to 10 lines along with unlimited talk and text messages.
The company’s effort is a rather aggressive marketing tactic to give consumers better deals in terms of value compared to its rivals Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. The 10 lines offer is valid until Mar. 31, 2016.
The company is also decreasing its data access fee, like charges per month for additional devices on shared data plan. The fee for the new Family Share Pack plan is now $15, not $25. Sprint is also eliminating the fee for new customers that take the 12GB plan.
An extra incentive for customers who bring their number to Spring from another carrier is the reward of an American Express Reward card that’s worth up to $350 for every line moved. This will help customers that have a termination fee with their previous wireless carrier.
Before a consumer decides to take Sprint up on its offer, there are some catches:
-
Plans from Verizon and AT&T have unlimited texts to international numbers
-
Users have free cloud storage
-
T-Mobile provide users with international texts and unlimited data
These aspects are not in the Sprint Family Share Pack plan. Sprint plan subscribers could purchase devices through the Spring Lease or Easy Pay option in order to be eligible for the data access charge discount.
The 12GB option is available only until Mar. 12.
