Manchester United Kids Learned a Valuable Lesson from their 0-4 Loss
The Manchester kids have officially lost straight with a 0-4 performance against West Ham United. According to Sir Alex Ferguson, his kids have learned a big lesson but will definitely pull through it. With several past losses, his kids according to him have practiced learning from past mistakes and play again.
Ferguson was reported to have said that the winning ingredient for the Hammers’ victory was their strategy and approach to the game and of course, their home advantage. While praising their competitors, Ferguson did not in any way give excuses for their loss. According to him, most of their young players were giving away too many goals and too many wrong moves – something that he sees as a good room for improvement. According to Ferguson, age should never be an excuse for poor performance in a game.
But Avram Grant however was not surprised by Manchester’s defeat and the Hammers great winning streak. The Hammer’s win has now placed them in the semi-finals. Grant’s team however was currently in the bottom position because of a bad start to the season. But his hopes have always been high that things will turn for the better at the course of the season.
According to grant, Hammer’s winning streak is a well-earned position for the team. He has been with the players for their games in Liverpool and Newcastle and they have always performed well in every match. For him, this game was played with clean sheet. Although he long expected the win, he never imaged to get a 0 to 4 winning streak.
The manager was particularly impressed with the performance of double goal scorer Spector who was also a former Manchester United player. For him, this spectacular win is just the start of the many good things that the team will be reaching for this season.
