Judge: Lohan Is On Right Track, Could End Court Troubles By End Of March
Stephanie Sautner, Los Angeles superior court judge, informed actress Lindsay Lohan that she was doing very well with complying her probation terms. This is the second positive report for the troubled 25-year-old Lohan.
Sautner said the probation officer wrote a favorable report about Lohan’scommunity service. Along with it, Sautner told Lohan to continue with the positive role because she was doing very well with her community service. Before this appearance, Lohan attended 12 community service sessions at the county morgue as well as therapy sessions.
Lohan was placed on probation after she was convicted for theft (shoplifting) and drunk driving. She was found guilty of DUI in 2007 and pleaded no contest to theft of a gold necklace from a Venice jewelry store in 2011.
Sautner sentenced her to 480 hours of community service at a Los Angeles women’s detention center and county morgue. However, her failure to perform them led the judge to revoke the probation in October, sending her back to jail although she only served four hours because of the overcrowding problem. Lohan has repeatedly been in trouble for violating her probation terms.
After praising her, Sautner warned Lohan that failing to meet the probation terms would mean another 270 days in jail. However, should Lohan stick to her schedule, she said, the probation will end in March. Judge Sautner scheduled the “The Parent Trap and Freak Friday” actress’ next court appearance for Feb. 22. She must complete 15 days of community service and do five therapy sessions.
