Amazon Delivery Driver Caught Defecating On Sidewalk After Making A Delivery
When a Sacramento County, California homeowner came home, he discovered a pile of feces had been left in front of his home.
When Nemy Bautista came home Tuesday and saw the mess, he immediately went to check his surveillance cameras to find out who the culprit was. He learned that he was an Amazon delivery contractor who had squatted down on the passenger side of his truck.
He posted his concerns to Amazon on their Facebook page, which led to the driver’s supervisor to investigate the incident. Bautista said the supervisor was shocked by its size. He scooped up the feces into a plastic bag but refused to take it with him because of how bad it smelled.
Batista said his garbage can is likely to smell like crap for several days. He said he used his water hose to wash the sidewalk and gutter too after the supervisor left.
According to an Amazon spokesperson, most of the holiday season packages are being delivered without any problems, and the company is working hard to make the situation better for the customer. In its efforts with the public, the company said the incident is not a reflection of its high standards for delivery service providers. Amazon said the individual, in this case, was fired from delivering Amazon packages, and that they were talking with the customer.
Bautista said Amazon gave him a gift card as another apology, but he said his real concern is for the customers after him that the delivery driver made after pooping.
