Plane crash in Paskistan with 152 on board, No Survivors (UPDATE)
A passenger plane with 146 passengers and 6 crew members on board has crashed near in Margalla Hills, north of Islamabad and latest reports confirm that no one has survived.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik initially told media that the rescue personnel are combing the area in the hope of finding more survivors and described the crash as a “great tragedy”.
Earlier Pakistan TV released an aerial footage of the crash site where smoke was seen emanating from a hilly and foggy terrain. According to initial reports some bodies were recovered and the toll was expected to climb.
The plane was traveling from Karachi to Islamabad, and according to eyewitnesses the crash took pace when it was about to land in poor weather condition with rain and poor visibility.
UPDATE: Although initial reports incorrectly reported few survivors, it is now confirmed that none survived and all aboard perished in this tragic accident.
