Dwyane Wade cancels a press conference scheduled for Tuesday.
MIAMI – Dwyane Wade is now going into silence about his free agency plans until he makes his final decision. Just a few days ago it seemed as though Wade would be signing with Miami and would even be part of the recruiting process to land another big free agent to South Beach.
Wade, then met with the Chicago Bulls and just about everyone believed it would be a quick meeting and Wade would be on his way back to Miami. This was very much not the case as Wade spent 3 hours with the Bulls and even came back for another interview Friday.
Why would Wade leave South Beach? Well, for starters he’s from Chicago. The biggest reason of all he would leave though is the fact his kids and ex-wife live here. Wade is currently fighting for custody of their children and him being in Chicago would help his case tremendously.
Wade was scheduled for a press conference tomorrow at his summer basketball camp at Nova Southeastern University but has since cancelled. His next decision remains unclear, but sources say it will most likely make a decision this week.
